Omid Nosrati: Founder of Nosrati Law

An Employment Lawyer with a Personal Understanding of Workplace Injustice

Omid Nosrati came to the United States as an immigrant at the age of 6. With no command of the English language and being the child of a large immigrant family struggling to survive, Omid had to work extremely hard for everything in life. Along the way to earning an education and working numerous jobs to help pay for his education, he experienced various forms of discrimination based on his national origin and religion. These experiences ultimately shaped his decision to help people who have also suffered from discrimination.

“I became interested in employment law early in my career because it dealt with things that I had personal knowledge of and experience with, namely discrimination in the workplace. I could really relate to my clients and connect to their stories. I also felt it was an important profession in our society, and I wanted to be a part of something that I believed was impactful.”

Advocating for Employees' Rights for Over 25 Years

Since 2001, Omid Nosrati has devoted his practice exclusively to representing employees—never employers. After seeing firsthand how difficult it can be for workers to challenge powerful companies, he founded Nosrati Law as a way to help employees fight back against discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and other unlawful workplace conduct. For more than 25 years, Omid has helped workers throughout California hold employers accountable, secure meaningful results, and find closure after difficult workplace experiences.

Throughout his career, Omid has obtained numerous seven-figure and six-figure results on behalf of his clients, earning him recognition as one of the Top 100 Labor and Employment Lawyers in the State of California by the American Society of Legal Advocates (ASLA). He has also been named to the California Super Lawyers list for the last six years in a row (from 2018-2026), earned recognition as one of America’s Top 50 Lawyers in the field of discrimination law, and maintained a perfect 10.0 “Superb” rating on Avvo.

“At the end of the day, the thing I feel most proud of is the lives I have impacted in a positive way,” says Omid.
